The Dashboard
The Dashboard is your central command center in WPCloset. It provides a high-level snapshot of your entire infrastructure and serves as the primary jumping-off point for your day-to-day operations.
Key Metrics
Section titled “Key Metrics”At the top of the dashboard, you will find four primary counters that track the total volume of resources currently managed by your organization. These metrics help you monitor your scale and stay aware of your current usage relative to your plan limits.
- Total Companies: The number of organizational containers you have created to group related projects.
- Total Sites: The total number of authorized WordPress installations connected to your repository.
- Total Plugins: The number of unique private plugins currently hosted in your vault.
- Total Themes: The number of unique private themes available for distribution.
Dynamic Capacity Actions
Section titled “Dynamic Capacity Actions”The dashboard features a “Quick Actions” section specifically tailored to your organization’s available capacity. WPCloset dynamically hides or shows action buttons based on what your current subscription plan allows you to do next.
Capacity-Based Visibility
Section titled “Capacity-Based Visibility”The system compares your current resource counts against your plan’s maximum limits.
- Available Actions: If your plan has remaining capacity (e.g., you have registered 3 sites but your plan allows for 10), the Add Site button will be visible.
- Reached Limits: Once you have consumed the maximum number of items allotted for a category, that specific action button is automatically removed from the dashboard. For instance, if your plan allows for one Company and you have already created it, the button to add a new company will disappear.
This ensures that your interface remains uncluttered and only presents options that are currently valid for your account level.
Recently Updated Sites
Section titled “Recently Updated Sites”Below the metrics, the dashboard provides a view of your Recently Updated Sites. This section is a specialized window into the most recent interactions between your repository and your WordPress fleet.
- Operational Snapshot: This list allows you to see at a glance which sites have recently checked for updates or pulled new versions of your plugins and themes.
- Quick Navigation: You can click on any site in this list to jump directly to its specific Site Details page for more granular management.
Full Activity Audit
Section titled “Full Activity Audit”Note that this dashboard section is limited to site updates. For Agency and Enterprise plan users, a comprehensive Activity Log is available on a separate page. That full log tracks every event across the organization, including asset uploads, team member invitations, and configuration changes.
Managing Your Growth
Section titled “Managing Your Growth”- Monitor Your Scale: Use the top metrics to stay ahead of your plan limits.
- Verify Connectivity: Use the Recently Updated Sites list to confirm that your mission-critical installations are successfully communicating with the repository.
- Upgrade Indicators: If you require more resources than your current plan allows—indicated by the absence of “Add” buttons—you may need to upgrade your subscription to increase your organizational capacity.
